Every resident benefits from the Mountain Rangers. The easiest way to help is by contributing to their monthly overheads.
Monthly contributions are R450. However, we welcome any amount you can manage; every contribution, regardless of size, helps us move forward.
Your contributions directly enhance ranger effectiveness by providing essential gear. This includes advanced communication tools for coordinating with security firms, high-powered torches, and strategic lighting for streets and mountain trails. Additionally, funds support our surveillance network, allowing guard houses to monitor live camera feeds etc.
Additional households that join the initiative will also assist in paying salaries to the current rangers, employing additional rangers to patrol on the streets along New Chum, Montrose, and Ribbon Avenue, and generally improve the surveillance that can be provided.
Any donations or sponsorships are welcome to improve the security Initiative.
The presence of the rangers in the mountain and on the streets has dramatically improved security over the years and reduced crime incidents.
However, additional rangers, equipment, and guard towers are needed.
